Aztecs
Widely considered the pinnacle of pictographic development in the Americas, the Aztec and Mixtec civilizations’ description of the world they and we now inhabit contains information important to our past, present and future as inhabitants of Turtle Island. I have come to understand that the power of those descriptive tools to organize thought and action is worthy and deserved in contemporary spaces, both public and private. I make paintings for interior spaces, take commissions for specific stories or designs and reproduce the writing in large outdoor environments for public Art purposes in street art environments.
